While this year’s summer trip was shorter and less active than most, we enjoyed it and focused on a bit of R&R. Highlights include:

I’m planning a single day enduro ride in northern Colorado next week, renting a Kawasaki KLR 650 from Steamboat Powersports. I’d appreciate input or votes on the proposed routes.

Great Lakes Tour 2009

Four (4)-day ride ride through Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan, following the the southern edge of the Lake Superior shoreline and the northern and western edges of the Lake Michigan shoreline.

Total mileage: 1,722.43 mi
Total fuel consumed: 44.81 gallons
Average fuel economy: 38.43 mpg
