The 1st version of this trip site was designed and implemented using thePosterous blogging system. Great features, well designed, but it didn’t meet all of my needs. As such, I went back to my old standby, WordPress.
I’ll also be using social network tools such as:
Hardware
My primary blogging interface will be an iPhone 4S, using Camera+ for iOS, iMovie for iOS, Posterous Spaces for iOS and Vimeo for iOS. I’ll likely use my MacBook Pro as well.
Digital photography and video gear is being determined. I’ll likely use the iPhone, dSLR and point-and-shoot.
Navigation and Communication
My helmet, a Shoei Multitec, is equipped with the Sena SMH10 Bluetooth communication system. Mounted to the bike are the Garmin zumo 550 GPS unit, and the SPOT Satellite GPS Messenger unit.
